EPAM Systems, Inc. in Mexico is seeking a Senior Data Software Engineer to drive data architecture and delivery across complex projects. You will pair hands-on engineering with technical leadership to shape scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, streaming systems, and data services.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, write user stories, and guide delivery while maintaining quality standards. Proficiency in Python, SQL, Spark, and Databricks is essential; experience with Kafka, Java, PySpark, and Scala

Formación

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong core Python skills for data engineering tasks.
• Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and querying.
• Experience with Apache Spark for large-scale data processing.
• Nice to have experience with Apache Kafka and Java.
• Experience with PySpark and Scala is beneficial.
• Excellent English proficiency (B2 level or higher).

Responsabilidades

• Architect and maintain the code base for ETL/ELT pipelines, including batch, micro-batch, and streaming systems.
• Build infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from diverse sources using modern tech.
• Identify and implement internal process improvements to increase data delivery efficiency and scalability.
• Design and implement data services using Spring Boot, ReactJS, NoSQL, and related UI/API tools.
• Ensure governance of delivery management and production processes according to the chosen delivery model.
• Act as the single point of responsibility for delivery with top management and stakeholders.
