Muttdata is a remote-first data science startup looking for a Senior Data Scientist focused on customer segmentation and RTM optimization. You will formalize the trade-offs between service time, costs, and profitability, building scalable models across markets.

Qualifications

• Background in Operations Research / optimization (linear/integer programming).
• Ability to interpret a P&L and translate into variables, costs, and objectives.
• Strong Python skills with optimization libraries.
• Experience with Databricks or similar data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Formalize mathematically the trade-off between service time, RTM cost and revenue per point of sale.
• Model cost and profitability layers feeding segmentation and service-model assignment.
• Build and solve optimization models (linear/integer programming, constrained optimization).
• Work on Channel/Size/Potential/ Territorial Profile pillars and multi-country expansion.
• Translate P&L into decision variables, costs, and objective functions.
