Hitachi Vantara is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join the Global Analytics & Decision Sciences (GADS) team within the Finance Organization. You will collaborate with services, sales, marketing, product, and finance to translate data into insights that inform executive decisions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in data science, strong Python/SQL, ML and statistical modeling, and experience with cloud platforms and Power BI.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field; Master’s is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with data-derived insights.
• Experience with Python/SQL, data engineering, and ML techniques.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with stakeholders to frame analytical needs and translate requirements into data solutions.
• Lead advanced analytics including statistical analysis, descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive modeling.
• Synthesize insights across financials, forecasts, products, geography and customers to drive decisions.
• Design scalable analytics using Python, SQL, data platforms, cloud tech, and visualization tools.
• Lead cross-functional projects and communicate findings to management.
• Mentor juniors and drive AI/ML adoption within the team.
