Rainforest Alliance is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and operate production data pipelines and analytics on Databricks/ADLS Gen2, with strong data modelling and Power BI expertise. You will lead a small team and collaborate across regions to advance a unified data platform.

You will report to the Senior Manager, Enterprise Data Platform, and contribute to governance, reproducibility, and scalable data solutions that inform global decision-making.

Formación

• Experience building production data pipelines on Databricks or similar Spark-based platforms.
• Strong SQL with dimensional modelling (Bronze/Silver/Gold patterns).
• Experience designing semantic models for Power BI and data visualization.
• Ability to write clear technical docs for non-specialists.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build and maintain production-grade data pipelines on Databricks/ADLS Gen2.
• Translate requirements into dimensional models and queries for the data platform.
• Develop reusable functions and production code for scale across the organization.
• Support Power BI datasets, reports and dashboards for performance and governance.
• Administer Power BI Premium lifecycle, onboarding, governance and cleanup.
• Develop data visualization methodologies and data extractions.
• Embed data quality checks with cross-functional teams and document logic.
• Collaborate with Data Platform Lead and regional teams; supervise 3–5 engineers.
