Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Senior Data Platform Architect (AWS) to lead architectural assessment and design resilient data infrastructure. You will evaluate pipelines, lakehouse setups, and federated access, building a practical roadmap for team ramp-up and delivery.

You will collaborate with incumbents and consultants, advance a modern SDLC with AI-assisted code reviews, and contribute to a globally distributed, 100% remote team that values flexibility and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data architecture with AWS.
• Strong expertise in AWS lakehouse architecture, including S3 and Iceberg.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Iceberg.
• Experience with Starburst or Trino.
• Proven experience with current-state assessment and roadmap development.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities
