Job summary

BairesDev in Mexico is seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to design and implement scalable, secure cloud environments on AWS, bridging development and operations to streamline delivery.

You will automate provisioning, build deployment pipelines with CodePipeline or GitHub Actions, manage Docker containers, and enforce IAM security, all while working 100% remotely with a global Top 1% talent network.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of DevOps or cloud operations experience.
• Proven AWS infrastructure expertise.
• IaC experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience containerizing deployments with Docker and AWS services.
• Strong English skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect and manage cloud-native infrastructure using core AWS services to support high-traffic applications.
• Automate provisioning and lifecycle of infrastructure components through declarative code.
• Build and optimize automated deployment pipelines to ensure rapid and reliable software releases.
• Implement container orchestration strategies to improve portability and efficiency.
• Establish monitoring and logging solutions to maintain system health and performance.
• Define and enforce security best practices across the AWS ecosystem, including IAM.

AWS DevOps Engineer at BairesDev

As an AWS DevOps Engineer, you will design and implement highly available, scalable, and secure cloud environments on Amazon Web Services. You will serve as a link between development and operations, streamlining the software delivery lifecycle through automation and robust infrastructure management.

What You'll Do

What We Are Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps Engineering, Infrastructure, or Cloud Operations.
• Proven expertise in building and maintaining infrastructure on AWS.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools, specifically Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using CodePipeline or GitHub Actions.
• Strong background in managing containerized deployments using Docker and AWS core services.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
