SENIOR DATA ENGINEER (Remote in México)

YOUR ROLE

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineer with expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF) to join our growing data team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure services. You will work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to ensure data is accessible, reliable, and optimized for analytics and reporting.

• Identify and troubleshoot root causes of failures in pipelines built with Azure Data Factory.
• Review team monitoring reports to identify issues and create corresponding User STpries / PBIs for resolution.
• Monitor the status of Databricks jobs and ADF pipelines.
• Understand the concepts of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) and ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) processes.
• Work with Azure Cloud Services, Azure Data Factory and Python / SPARK (we use Azure Databricks).

YOUR PROFILE

• Goodconversational Englishskills (B2, C1, C2)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience indata engineeringor related role.
• Proficiency inPython.
• Strong understanding ofETL/ELT processes.
• Experience withAzure Cloud Servicesspecially inAzure Data Factory.
• Ability to reviewmonitoring reports and create PBIsfor necessary fixes.
• Focus onsystem maintenance.

Prefered qualifications:

• Azure certifications(e.g., Azure Data Engineer Associate).
• Experience withDatabricks, Power BI, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience working inAgile/Scrumenvironments.
