Persistent Systems in Mexico is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our AI-led, platform-driven Digital Engineering team. This role focuses on building robust data pipelines and modern data platforms across the enterprise.

You will design and implement data ingestion, warehousing, and analytics pipelines using Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Lakehouse, and Data Factory, with Azure services to support scalable analytics and reporting.

Formación

• 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, and Analytics solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Factory, and Data Warehouse.
• Strong expertise in developing ETL/ELT pipelines using Fabric Data Factory, PySpark, and SQL.
• Experience implementing Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) and modern data platform solutions.
• Proficient in Azure services such as ADLS Gen2, Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and Azure SQL.
• Strong data modeling skills with experience in dimensional modeling and semantic data layer design.

Responsabilidades

• Develop scalable and secure data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration pipelines.
• Experience in performance tuning, data quality, monitoring, governance, and lineage management.
• Working knowledge of Power BI, Semantic Models, CI/CD, Azure DevOps, Git, and Agile delivery practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills with experience supporting enterprise-scale analytics initiatives.
