Google is seeking a Data Engineer in Mexico City to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and data models for marketing analytics. You will enable data-driven decision making across the Global YouTube Marketing team by ensuring data quality and accessible analytics.

You will collaborate with Engineering and Sales Services, drive integration of AI tools into workflows, and mentor junior team members while advancing high-availability data solutions.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/Math or related field.
• 3 years of experience with data processing software (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Pig, Hive) and algorithms (e.g., MapReduce, Flume).
• Experience managing client-facing projects and collaborating with Eng and Sales Services teams.
• Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data models for marketing data sources.
• Integrate new metrics into core data marts with data quality checks and monitoring.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to translate business requirements into technical data solutions.
• Optimize data infrastructure and querying layers for performance, efficiency, and scalability.
