Job summary

PwC Mexico is seeking a Data Engineer - Senior Associate to design and build data pipelines, data integration, and transformation solutions for clients in our Data and Analytics Engineering practice. You will analyze complex issues, manage workstreams, mentor juniors, and contribute to data infrastructure that drives insights across engagements.

Qualifications

At least a Bachelor’s degree.
At least 3 years of experience.
Oral and written proficiency in English required.

Responsibilities

Designing and building data pipelines, integration flows, and transformation logic for client solutions.
Developing data infrastructure and data models that support analytics, reporting, and operational use cases.
Applying Apache Airflow, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Snowflake to orchestrate and manage data processing workflows.
Analyzing complex data engineering problems and translating business needs into scalable technical approaches.
Validating data quality, lineage, and transformation logic across source and target systems.
Optimizing database performance, query execution, and warehouse structures to support reliable data access.
Collaborating with client teams to interpret requirements, communicate progress, and adapt delivery plans as priorities change.
Guiding junior team members through technical tasks, review cycles, and issue resolution.
Supporting data architecture decisions by evaluating patterns, tooling, and integration options.
Upholding professional and technical standards while delivering work across assigned client engagement workstreams.
