AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead the replacement of a third-party digital ingestion tool with a custom ETL pipeline within an AWS environment. Strong SQL and DSP data experience are essential to design scalable ingestion and analytics capabilities.

You will evaluate build-vs-buy options like Fivetran, document existing logic, and collaborate with data science teams to ensure ingestion aligns with downstream models and dashboards across our client projects.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in SQL and large-scale data ingestion/pipeline
• Direct or adjacent experience with digital advertising / DSP data
• Working knowledge of AWS data services (RDS/Postgres, S3, ECS)
• Ability to contribute to backend work beyond pure ETL
• Familiarity with managed ELT tools such as Fivetran
• Ability to align ingestion output with downstream dashboards and scoring
• Upper-intermediate English level

Responsabilidades

• Document current ingestion logic in the legacy tool (TapClicks).
• Build the ETL pipeline to replace the legacy system across multiple data sources.
• Evaluate build-vs-buy options like Fivetran with Infrastructure Lead.
• Design a standalone, owned pipeline powering client dashboards.
• Provide backend support within AWS environment when directed.
• Coordinate with data science teams to align with attribution and scoring logic.
• Work within AWS (ECS, S3, RDS) rather than standing up parallel infra.
