AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to replace a third-party ingestion tool with a custom ETL pipeline in an existing AWS environment. You will document current logic, evaluate build-vs-buy options like Fivetran, and own the standalone pipeline. Strong SQL and DSP data experience are essential.

The role emphasizes collaboration with data science teams and engineers, plus the ability to support backend work beyond ETL in a flexible, distributed setup.

Formación

• 4+ years of strong SQL and large-scale data ingestion/pipeline experience.
• Direct or adjacent experience with digital advertising / DSP data.
• Working knowledge of AWS data services (RDS/Postgres, S3, ECS).
• Ability to contribute to application and backend work beyond pure ETL.
• Familiarity with, or ability to quickly evaluate, managed ELT tools such as Fivetran.
• Ability to ramp into existing attribution and scoring logic for dashboards.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsabilidades

• Document current ingestion logic inside the legacy tool (TapClicks).
• Build the ETL pipeline to replace the legacy system across Amazon API and DSP sources.
• Evaluate off-the-shelf solutions vs custom builds with Infrastructure Lead.
• Design the pipeline as a standalone, owned system for client dashboards.
• Provide engineering support within the AWS environment (ECS, S3, RDS).
• Coordinate with data science teams to align ingestion with downstream models.
• Work within the existing AWS environment rather than standing up new infra.
