AgileEngine in Monterrey is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to replace a third-party ingestion tool with a custom ETL pipeline inside our AWS environment. You will document existing logic, evaluate options like Fivetran, and build a standalone pipeline that powers client dashboards.

Strong SQL, DSP data experience, and the ability to contribute to application and backend work beyond ETL are essential. You will collaborate with data science teams to ensure ingestion outputs align with downstream

Formación

• 4+ years of SQL and large-scale data ingestion experience.
• Direct or adjacent experience with digital advertising/DSP data.
• Working knowledge of AWS data services (RDS/Postgres, S3, ECS).
• Ability to contribute to application/backend work beyond pure ETL.
• Familiarity with ELT tools (e.g., Fivetran) and build-vs-buy evaluation.
• Upper-intermediate English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Document current ingestion logic inside the legacy tool (TapClicks).
• Build the ETL pipeline to replace the legacy system, ingesting from the Amazon API, DSPs, and related data sources.
• Evaluate off-the-shelf vs custom ETL solutions with Infrastructure Lead.
• Design the pipeline as a standalone, owned system to power client dashboards.
• Provide AWS backend support for application and backend work as needed.
• Coordinate with data science teams to align ingestion with downstream models.
• Work within the existing AWS environment (ECS, S3, RDS).
