Ampstek is seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Engineer to design and build scalable cloud-based data solutions.

You will implement pipelines with Snowflake, dbt, AWS, and Python, optimize data models, and mentor junior engineers.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams across domains such as Demand & Supply Planning and Logistics to deliver reliable data platforms; strong communication and stakeholder management are essential.

Formación

• Requires extensive experience designing scalable cloud data platforms.
• Hands-on Snowflake, dbt, AWS, and Python expertise.
• Strong SQL/data warehousing and ETL/ELT skills.
• Experience mentoring engineers and guiding architectural decisions.

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Data Engineer with experience in designing and building scalable cloud-based data solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Snowflake, DBT, AWS, and Python, with experience developing modern data pipelines and data warehouse solutions.

Domain Expertise:

Strong Global Supply Chain knowledge covering Demand & Supply Planning, Production & Capacity Planning, Inventory Management, Procurement & Logistics, S&OP/IBP, and NPI. (Preferably, 2+ years of relevant domain experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows.
• Build and maintain scalable data models in Snowflake using dbt.
• Develop Python-based data processing and automation solutions.
• Leverage AWS services such as S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, and EMR to build cloud-native data platforms.
• Optimize data performance, ensure data quality, and implement best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and scalable data solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in technical design discussions.
