AgileEngine, LLC is seeking a Senior Data and Analytics Engineer to translate business needs into data transformations using dbt and SQL. The role sits in León, Guanajuato, Mexico and focuses on building robust data pipelines and models for fast-paced verticals.

You will work with Snowflake, dbt Cloud, GitHub, VS Code, and Python, collaborating with product managers and analysts to deliver consumption-ready data and insights across projects.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering in production environments.
• Expert-level Python and SQL skills.
• Extensive hands-on experience building transformation pipelines in dbt Cloud.
• Strong proficiency with Snowflake and development tools like GitHub and VS Code.
• Ability to thrive in a process-light environment that operates like a data science team.
• Strong communication with non-technical stakeholders and product managers during sprint planning.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver robust data features and pipelines within project teams for fast-paced, business-facing verticals.
• Translate complex business use cases into robust data models using dbt and SQL, joining revenue and performance data with internal contracts.
• Build and maintain scalable pipelines using Snowflake, dbt Cloud, GitHub, VS Code, and Python.
• Leverage AI tools in the development workflow and collaborate on governance for tool adoption.
• Partner with product managers, data visualization leads, and analysts to deliver consumption-ready data.
