Responsabilidades

• Represents the Company in all Customs matters related to Mexico.
• Manages interactions with Customs and other Government agencies in Mexico.
• Ensures compliance with Mexico government requirements and reviews changes impacting Customs.
• Interprets and applies relevant laws and regulations for correct implementation.
• Monitors Internal Customs yearly forecast and related budget reporting.
• Analyzes and reconciles import/export balances and documents with perpetual records.
• Ensures timely and accurate transactions of all permits and licenses.
• Ensures Certificates of Origin are completed promptly and accurately.
• Analyzes BOMs to determine product origin and updates Customs System accordingly.
• Ensures FDA codes are in place when required for US-imported items.
• Loads FDA data into the Customs System and coordinates related actions.
• Coordinates with US Brokers to resolve issues affecting operations.
• Updates and maintains data in the Customs System and conducts periodic audits.
• Implements changes related to SAAI and SQL in the Customs System.
• Coordinates procurement of departmental supplies and resources where needed.
• Provides training to customers and associates on customs processes.
• Keeps thorough records and archives of customs documents per regulations and J&J policies.
• Drives timely and secure flow of new product lines and transfers.
• Coordinates external audits of Customs department activities.
• Continuously reviews internal controls for international business operations.
• Adheres to all safety policies and EMS responsibilities within the work area.
• Complies with company policies and local, state, and federal regulations related to customs activity.
• Follows J&J and EES Records Management policies for information, retention, and governance.
