CalAmp in Mexico City is seeking a Senior Mobile/Web developer with 4+ years of hands-on experience to join our team. You will architect and deliver a cross‑platform Installer App with an offline‑first Next.js UI running inside a Capacitor shell for iOS and Android.

You will work across web and native layers, build a Capacitor BLE plugin, implement secure offline storage, and collaborate with backend services (CTC) and Salesforce to ship a robust mobile solution.

Formación

• Translate PRD/Requirements into scalable design/implementation.
• TypeScript, modern React, ES+, Next.js 14+ (SPA/PWA patterns, routing, SSG).
• PWA fundamentals: Service Workers, Cache API, offline UX patterns.
• Experience creating abstractions; SOLID patterns.
• Capacitor (or equivalent hybrid runtime) and WebView constraints.
• Native mobile development on iOS (Swift/Obj‑C) and Android (Kotlin/Java) with Bluetooth.
• SCM/Package Management: Git, Yarn, NPM, Node.
• Preact Signals (or equivalent state management).

Responsabilidades

• Build and ship a cross‑platform Installer App with an offline‑first Next.js UI in a Capacitor shell for iOS and Android.
• Develop and maintain a Capacitor BLE plugin for iOS & Android.
• Expose stable JS APIs, events for device discovery, connectivity, data exchange, RSSI, proximity workflows.
• Deliver offline workflows: service worker caching, background sync, durable local storage for install job records.
• Integrate with backend services (CTC) and Salesforce.
• Enable camera flows for QR/barcode scanning and photo capture for job docs.
• Create update strategies with bundled UI and remote updates guarded by version gates.
• Perform E2E tests on real devices and ensure App Store / Google Play compliance; set up CI/CD for web and mobile.
