About the job

Twilio is growing rapidly and seeking a Credit and Collection Analyst to join our Accounting team in Mexico. The role will work within the entire Order to Cash cycle and focus on day-to-day duties including collections, accounting, customer account reconciliation and related bad debt analysis. This position will help support Twilio’s growth efforts globally.

Responsibilities

• Contact clients and discuss their overdue payments and negotiate repayment terms.
• Respond to customer queries.
• Achieve monthly cash targets while ensuring effective customer satisfaction.
• Identify key areas for change or improvement.
• Contribute to nurturing and enhancing Twilio's culture with a focus on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum of 3+ years of collections experience
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can shift between details and the big picture
• Loves data and reconciliations; comfortable working with targets
• Strong communication and negotiation skills for best-in-class customer service
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Desirable:

• Third level qualification in Accounting, Finance or Business-related discipline, or relevant experience

Location

This role is remote and based in Mexico City.

Travel

Occasional travel may be required to participate in project or team in-person meetings.
