Flowserve is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant in Mexico to ensure compliance with US GAAP, SOX, and local regulations while leading monthly closing, reporting, and cost accounting activities. You will analyze variances, support standard cost rolls, and partner with finance to improve accuracy and drive improvements.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in cost accounting, with strong Excel; Oracle, SAP, and BPC are a plus. Major Medical Expenses Insurance is provided.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, economics, finance or related major.
• At least 3 years relevant experience in cost accounting.
• Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to work independently to resolve a wide variety of multi-faceted financial accounting problems.

Responsabilidades

• Quality and timeliness of accounting and reporting, ensuring all financial data are accurate, complete and submitted in accordance with Flowserve's timetable
• Prepare project review summary including process to signoff orders.
• Perform Sales and margin analysis, monitors and analyzes manufacturing variances
• Determination and review of sales or production-related valuation adjustments (penalties, warranty costs, inventory write-offs, slow and obsolete stock and others.)
• Closely work with finance business partners and assist in creating forecasts and deviation analyses
• Participate and lead projects as required

Your Role and Impact

As a Senior Cost Accountant, you will ensure compliance with Flowserve policies, US GAAP, SOX, and local regulations while executing monthly closing, reporting, and cost accounting activities. You will also analyze manufacturing variances, support standard cost roll processes, and work closely with finance partners to improve accuracy and drive process improvements. Ensure compliance with Flowserve policies, US GAAP, SOX and local statutory laws and regulations and that business is conducted within Flowserve ethical Code of Business Conduct.

• - Quality and timeliness of accounting and reporting, ensuring all financial data are accurate, complete and submitted in accordance with Flowserve's timetable
