(Mexico) is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant to ensure compliance with US GAAP, SOX, and local regulations while executing monthly closing, reporting, and cost accounting activities. The role includes variance analysis, standard cost roll support, and collaboration with finance partners to improve accuracy and drive improvements. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in accounting or related field and at least 3 years of cost accounting experience, with strong Excel

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics, finance or related major.
• At least 3 years relevant experience in cost accounting.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills.
• Knowledge of SOX/US GAAP preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Execute monthly closing and reporting procedures for assigned units.
• Analyze manufacturing variances and support standard cost roll processes.
• Prepare project reviews and sign-off orders.
• Perform sales and margin analysis; monitor cost variances.
• Identify improvements and support forecasts and deviation analyses.
• Collaborate with finance partners for accuracy and timeliness.
