We have an exciting position open in Queretaro:Senior Cost Analyst LATAM, reporting to theAccounting Coordinator of Shared Services of Latin America.

Job Summary

Gather and analyze financial and operational information, in order to issue periodic reports, support and prepare results and balance presentations. Assist and monitor the budget preparation process. Collect cost accounting processes of different countries, analyze and prepare industrial cost reports for leaders, and act together with local teams in cost management and control.

Job Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze financial information to support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing schedule and reporting.
  • Prepare periodic management reports on different topics of Analytical P&L, Working Capital, and Business Analysis.
  • Prepare and consolidate profitability reports for LATAM. Variance Analysis (Industrial Variances, PPV, absorption).
  • Support preparation of the budget. Identifying improvement areas, providing understanding on the drivers of variances. Follow up on Actual vs Budget analysis (Gross Margin/Working Capital).
  • Consolidate and report KPI’s for Operations.
  • Assist in the preparation of Five-Year Plan for LATAM; analyzing trends to grow Gross Profit; Capex Envelope; Capex Spending.
  • Follow up on Capex Approval & Capex Spending. In a periodic basis connect with involved teams to analyze forecast for approval spending.
  • Analyze Working Capital KPIs, monitor and follow up on actions for inventories slow moving.
  • Support Ad-Hoc Projects (localization, internalization, and make vs. buy decisions) and support specific cost analysis for BID or quotations as required.
Education
  • University degree in Administration, Accounting or equivalent.
  • Ability to deliver clear and concise financial information.
  • Experience providing financial support in a product business.
  • Proactive approach, capable of working on own initiative.
  • Ability to follow instructions and use creative insight when necessary to enhance reporting requirements or efficiencies.
Experience
  • At least 3 years of business experience in financial planning and accounting, controlling, consolidations, and/or reporting roles within a multinational company.
  • BPC or similar (Financial Management/Enterprise) experience beneficial.
