TAKEDA PHARMACEUTICAL CO. seeks an Assistant Controller for the LATAM cluster, based in Mexico City, to manage controllership for all LATAM entities. You will support month-end, quarter-end and year-end closes and help prepare IFRS and local GAAP statements.

You will coordinate audits, work with SAP, Blackline and HFM, and drive process improvements. Fluent English and Spanish are required; ACCA/CIMA/CPA preferred. Some travel is expected, about twice a year.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in controllership, accounting, audit or record-to-report.
• Ability to review and challenge IFRS and local GAAP output and prepare it.

Responsabilités

• Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end close.
• Prepare balance sheet reviews, flux commentary, journal entries, accruals and reconciliations.
• Coordinate external, internal, SOX and tax audits and run assigned internal controls.
• Be main liaison between markets and CoE, collaborating with tax, treasury, FP&A and commercial teams.
