Job summary

Alliance Air Products seeks a Controller for its new site at COL. EL TECOLOTE. This role leads accounting, financial reporting, cost accounting, consolidation, and internal controls for US and Mexico operations, partnering with Daikin corporate finance to drive profitability and cash flow.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, 12+ years in a similar role, and advanced Excel skills. Familiarity with IFRS 15, US GAAP, and inventory controls is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
• +12 years of experience in a similar role.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting and standard costing methodologies.
• Familiarity with inventory management, valuation, and control processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close and consolidation, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Ensure financial reporting integrity and compliance with US GAAP/IFRS and accounting policies.
• Oversee manufacturing cost accounting, production costs, variances, and margin analysis across plants and product lines.
• Establish inventory accounting and control standards, overseeing counts, valuation, reserves, and variance resolution.
• Lead internal controls and financial governance, ensuring effective policies, reconciliations, and corrective actions.
• Lead audit coordination and support tax and corporate finance requirements, ensuring timely statutory and corporate reporting.
• Oversee revenue recognition and period cut-off, ensuring compliance with IFRS 15 and company policies across commercial arrangements.
• Partner with FP&A and executive leadership on financial planning, cash flow, working capital, and profitability analysis to support strategic decisions.
