A rapidly growing technology firm specializing in advanced software and financial solutions is seeking a Senior Controller with strong leadership and management capabilities to lead its accounting and financial operations. This is a strategic and senior position, supporting the company in the preparation of accounting and financial reports that will serve as a foundation for business decisions.

The Senior Controller will oversee accounting, tax, and financial planning activities across multiple LATAM entities (primarily Panama, Costa Rica, and the Dominican Republic), ensuring compliance with local accounting standards and regulations. Additionally, this role will serve as a consultative partner to the commercial team on fiscal matters impacting sales across Latin America and the Caribbean.

What You'll Do
  • Lead all accounting, tax, and FP&A operations.
  • Manage the preparation and submission of tax filings and accounting reports to local authorities.
  • Oversee financial planning and performance metrics, including profitability, working capital, and capital efficiency.
  • Manage fixed assets and ensure proper controls and reporting.
  • Design and implement internal controls to ensure accurate records and compliance with company policies and local laws.
  • Produce and interpret financial reports, providing data-driven recommendations for decision-making and business optimization.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor for the commercial team on tax and accounting implications across LATAM operations.
What You Need
  • 7+ years of experience as a Controller or in a senior finance leadership role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA or equivalent certification required.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong understanding of accounting and tax regulations in LATAM, ideally with exposure to Central America and the Caribbean (Panama, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic).
  • Experience with IFRS and US GAAP.
  • Understanding of internal controls and experience implementing them.
  • Full professional proficiency in Spanish; English is highly desirable.
  • Experience in multinational or regional organizations preferred.

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (+/- 1 hour accepted) - PST.
