FTI Consulting Mexico invites an experienced Senior Consultant to join our investigations and compliance practice. You will apply forensic accounting and analytical skills to complex client matters across Mexico, Latin America and beyond, working with senior teams and leading law firms.

Based in Mexico, you will handle engagements involving anti-corruption, fraud and regulatory matters, with exposure to IFRS, NIF and US GAAP.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in forensic accounting or related field
• Working knowledge of accounting and financial reporting concepts, with exposure to IFRS, Mexico NIF and/or U.S. GAAP.
• Familiarity with SEC reporting requirements is a plus.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, Contador Público, CFE or equivalent are valued but not required
• Strong accounting, financial analysis, problem-solving and communication skills
• Professional fluency in English and Spanish, with the ability to conduct interviews, analyze documents and communicate effectively with clients in both languages
• Ability to travel nationally and internationally as needed

• Perform accounting and financial analysis and assist law firms and clients in analyzing and documenting complex accounting issues in the context of investigations, compliance program/controls assessments, and monitorships

• Conduct and support investigative interviews of employees, executives and third parties
• Assist with background research, due diligence and investigative research where relevant to client matters
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across FTI’s global network and with external counsel and client teams
• Help translate complex findings into clear, concise and defensible presentations, reports and work product
• Work on matters spanning Mexico, Latin America, the United States and other international markets, collaborating with FTI colleagues across disciplines and geographies
• Depending on the engagement, support litigation and dispute matters involving financial analysis, accounting issues, damages or other complex fact patterns

About The Role

Based in Mexico, you will join a growing team that works on complex investigations, disputes, compliance and risk matters across Mexico, Latin America and globally. You will work alongside experienced professionals, leading law firms and sophisticated multinational clients on matters where the facts are complex, the stakes are high and the answers matter. This role is designed for someone who combines strong accounting and analytical skills with intellectual curiosity, sound judgment and an investigative mindset. You will have early exposure to clients and senior team members, meaningful responsibility on engagements, and the opportunity to help grow our practice in Mexico. As a Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for applying investigative, forensic accounting, financial and analytical skills to complex client matters.

What You'll Do

What You Will Need To Succeed

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in forensic accounting or related field
• Working knowledge of accounting and financial reporting concepts, with exposure to IFRS, Mexico NIF and/or U.S. GAAP.
