Job summary

Sandvik in Mexico is seeking a production technician to set up, calibrate, and operate machines used in production processes. You will follow procedures for CNC and conventional manufacturing equipment, select and measure raw materials to specifications, and inspect finished parts for tolerances with precision tools.

You will also resolve issues in production, perform simple routine maintenance, and uphold safety and 5S housekeeping standards to ensure smooth operations.

• Experience operating CNC and conventional manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to measure with precision tools and inspect tolerances.
• Commitment to safety and 5S housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate, and operate machines in production.
• Follow procedures for operating CNC and conventional equipment.
• Select and measure raw materials and parts to specifications.
• Resolve issues in production, machinery, processing or packaging.
• Inspect machining and finished parts against tolerances with precision tools.
• Determine and correct minor malfunctions; perform basic maintenance and cleaning.
• Maintain safety and 5S housekeeping.
