Job summary

ESAB Corporation in Hermosillo, Sonora seeks an experienced engineering leader to direct, lead, and manage the technical activities of one or more engineering functions, including hardware development for electronic and mechanical design, and software development for software systems and QA.

The role also covers integrated hardware/software systems design, other areas such as electronics, electrical, industrial, process, quality and environmental, with assignments defined by objectives and goals

Responsibilities

• Directs, leads, and manages the technical activities of one or more engineering functions.
• Hardware development for electronic design, mechanical design and/or hardware reliability.
• Software development for software systems, applications and/or software quality assurance.
• Integrated hardware/software systems design function.
• Other areas may include electronics, electrical, industrial, process, quality and environmental.
• Receives assignments in the form of objectives with goals and the process to meet them.
• Directs subordinates on predetermined work assignments completed using established guidelines, procedures and policies.
• Supervises Support track employees and may occasionally perform similar work as their subordinates.
