Job summary

Ford of Mexico is seeking an experienced Enterprise Software Engineer to join the Global Technology and Business Center in Naucalpan. You will architect and deliver high-performance cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud Platform, modernizing legacy .NET backends into Java and React applications, empowering technicians and service teams worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience with cloud migrations.
• Experience migrating enterprise apps to cloud environments (GCP preferred).
• Proficiency in Java (Spring Boot), React/Angular, and RESTful APIs.
• Strong English communication and cross-cultural collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and deploy cloud-native full-stack applications on GCP with Java, React, PostgreSQL.
• Lead migration of legacy ASP.NET/C# backends and SQL Server databases to cloud-native services.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and security tooling.
• Write comprehensive unit/integration/ performance tests.
• Collaborate with product managers and global teams across regions to translate requirements.
• Champion Agile practices in sprint cycles with story mapping and code reviews.
