Job summary

Legion Technologies is seeking a Senior Integration Engineer to design and maintain scalable integrations within our Legion WFM ecosystem. You will connect HR, payroll, POS, and other enterprise systems using modern cloud platforms and integration patterns.

You will craft secure REST APIs, work with Workato and other integration platforms, and collaborate with architects to ensure high-quality enterprise-grade solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM field required.
• 7+ years in architecture roles and technical leadership.
• Strong English communication and interpersonal skills.
• 3+ years with event-driven architecture and microservices.
• Deep knowledge of integration technologies and protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SFTP, SOAP, REST, JMS, JDBC).
• Proficiency with Core Java, SQL, JDBC ( Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, etc.).
• 2+ years AWS (CDK, CloudFormation, S3, ECS, EKS, EC2).
• Experience with CI/CD processes and tools; test-driven development.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and execution of scalable integrations across HR, POS, Payroll systems.
• Design, Build, and Test integrations using Workato.
• Develop secure REST APIs within Legion’s API-driven ecosystem.
• Collaborate with architects/engineers for design reviews and code reviews.
• Support on-call rotation and production issue troubleshooting.
