Bluelight Consulting seeks a senior software architect to lead design of low-latency, secure, multi-tenant systems in AWS. You will drive architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and produce ADRs while collaborating with clients across the US and LATAM.

This role offers remote-friendly, flexible hours and a focus on modern tech stack including Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL/Aurora, and RESTful APIs. Bachelor’s degree required; strong ownership and communication essential.

Formación

• 8+ years of professional software development, with 3+ years in an architecture-focused role.
• Deep experience designing low-latency service architectures in AWS with distributed components.
• Latency budgets (p95/p99) and synchronous durable commits in hot paths.
• Audit/evidence systems: append-only event logs and versioned models.
• Fail-open/fail-closed/degraded-state semantics and outage postures.
• Secure multi-tenant architectures, including RLS vs tenancy strategies.
• PostgreSQL/AuroraDB and RLS at architecture level.
• Designing scalable RESTful APIs and SDK integrations.
• Experience with ADRs, architecture reviews, and documentation.
• Overlap US business hours; Bachelor’s degree required; ownership and accountability.
