Job summary

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze purchase requisitions.
• Coordinate purchasing activities with manufacturing, planning and engineering to acquire inventory in a cost effective and timely manner.
• Process purchase requisitions, purchase change orders and requests for quotes to suppliers.
• Maintain data integrity in procurement systems; create and maintain bills of materials and parts/commodities numbers.
• Participate in cost analysis and volume planning for major commodities; monitor cost, schedule and scope of subcontracts.
• Develop new supply sources and supplier relationships; propose cost saving and make-vs-buy analyses.
• Collaborate with suppliers and QA to resolve quality issues and address procurement strategy and market trends.
