SHEIN in Mexico is seeking a talented Buying Specialist to identify and select merchandise that fits our brand's aesthetic and customers. The role requires visiting markets to evaluate suppliers, tracking fashion trends, forecasting seasons, and building relationships with store owners, manufacturers, and designers.

You will contribute to visual merchandising and present regular purchasing reports, insights to improve buying strategies, and ensure product assortment aligns with market demand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree completed.
• Strong knowledge of fashion trends and consumer behavior.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage budgets and forecast trends under deadlines.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Willing to visit CDMX Tepito and Estado de Mexico.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Fluent English required.

Responsabilités

• Identify and select merchandise that aligns with our brand's aesthetic and customer base.
• Offline visit markets to evaluate and select suppliers to choose the best products
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of fashion trends, consumer behavior, and industry shifts.
• Monitor fashion trends and consumer preferences through various sources (fashion shows, social media, market research).
• Conduct analysis to forecast upcoming seasons’ collections, ensuring product selections align with market demand.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with store owners, manufacturers, and designers.
• Provide input on the visual merchandising of stores and online platforms.
• Prepare and present regular reports on purchasing activity and sales performance.
• Provide insights and recommendations for improving buying strategies and product assortment.
• Assist vendors in completing SHEIN account registration, product photography, product listing, and sales, resolving any issues encountered during the process.
