Job summary

Shein in Mexico City is seeking a Buyer to identify and select merchandise that aligns with the brand's aesthetic and customer base. The role requires visiting markets to evaluate suppliers and curate top products, while staying current with fashion trends and consumer behavior.

Responsibilities include forecasting seasons, maintaining strong supplier relationships, and contributing to visual merchandising and reports on purchasing activity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design required.
• Strong knowledge of fashion trends, consumer behavior, and market analysis.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage budgets, forecast trends, and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Willing to visit CDMX markets (Tepito) and Estado de Mexico.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word).
• Fluent English is required.

• Provide insights and recommendations for improving buying strategies and assortment.
• Assist vendors in completing SHEIN account registration, product photography, listing, and sales issues.

• Prepare and present regular reports on purchasing activity and sales performance.
• Provide insights and recommendations for improving buying strategies and product assortment.
• Assist vendors in completing SHEIN account registration, product photography, product listing, and sales, resolving any issues encountered during the process.
