Bluelight is a leading software consultancy expanding across the Americas, seeking a Business Analyst to translate business problems into clear, buildable requirements. You’ll sit between clients, product teams, and engineers: running discovery, mapping processes, writing user stories and acceptance criteria, and making sure what we ship actually solves the problem it was meant to solve.

Formación

• 3+ years as a Business Analyst or similar role on software projects.
• Strong experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria in an agile/Scrum environment.
• Proven ability to run discovery sessions and turn ambiguous input into structured requirements.
• Comfort with process mapping and data modeling at a business level.
• Hands-on experience with Jira; familiarity with Figma and collaborative docs.
• Excellent written and spoken English; able to lead client meetings with U.S. stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Lead stakeholder interviews and workshops with clients and internal teams to understand goals, workflows, and pain points.
• Document current-state and future-state processes, business rules, data definitions, and edge cases.
• Support new-project sizing by breaking scope into epics and stories for engineering estimate.
• Identify assumptions, risks, dependencies, and open questions early, driving resolution.
• Write clear user stories with testable acceptance criteria in Jira.
• Partner with the Product Manager to prioritize and groom the backlog ahead of each sprint.
• Work with UI/UX design in Figma to ensure flows match requirements and flag gaps.
• Answer engineering questions during the sprint and keep requirements current as decisions are made.
• Work with QA to ensure acceptance criteria translate into test coverage.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing with clients and support sprint demos.
• Keep requirements documentation organized in Google Drive for easy reference.
