Bluelightconsulting seeks a Business Analyst to translate business problems into clear, buildable requirements. You will sit between clients, the product team, and engineers—leading discovery, mapping processes, and writing user stories with acceptance criteria.

You’ll help scope new projects and ensure what we ship solves the intended problem. You’ll work across client builds, maintenance engagements, and internal products, shaping scope during project scoping and estimation.

Formación

• 3+ years in Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role on software projects.
• Strong experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria in an agile/Scrum environment.
• Proven ability to run discovery sessions and turn ambiguous input into structured requirements.
• Comfort with process mapping and data modeling at a business level.

Responsabilidades

• Lead stakeholder interviews and workshops with clients and internal teams to understand goals, workflows, and pain points.
• Document current-state and future-state processes, business rules, data definitions, and edge cases.
• Support new-project sizing by breaking scope into epics and stories for engineering estimates.
• Identify assumptions, risks, dependencies, and questions early, and drive resolution.
• Write clear user stories with testable acceptance criteria in Jira.
• Partner with the Product Manager to prioritize and groom the backlog for each sprint.
• Work with UI/UX design in Figma to ensure flows match requirements and flag gaps before development.
• Assist QA to ensure acceptance criteria translate into test coverage.
• Support sprint demos and coordinate user acceptance testing with clients.
• Keep requirements documentation organized in Google Drive for easy reference.
