Una empresa de ingeniería líder en Jalisco busca un Cloud Engineer con más de 5 años de experiencia. El candidato ideal debe tener un fuerte conocimiento de AWS y habilidades en Infraestructura como Código. Formación

• 5+ años de experiencia práctica como Cloud Engineer, preferiblemente en roles centrados en AWS.
• Profundo entendimiento de conceptos de computación en la nube.
• Experiencia con herramientas de Infraestructura como Código.

Responsabilidades

• Colaborar con equipos de ingeniería en la nube para diseñar y construir sistemas nativos de la nube.
• Desarrollar y mantener infraestructura como código utilizando herramientas como Terraform.
• Asegurar que todas las soluciones en la nube cumplan con los estándares de gobernanza y seguridad.

Descripción del empleo

• Collaborate with cloud engineering teams to design and build robust, cloud-native systems.
• Enhance and scale cloud infrastructure using RESTful APIs, AWS serverless technologies (e.g., Lambda), and event-driven architectures.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to deliver secure, consistent environments.
• Ensure all cloud solutions adhere to governance, security, and compliance standards, following AWS best practices.
• Design scalable AWS architectures capable of handling millions of requests from hundreds of thousands of users.
• Analyze X-Ray logs, user stories, backlog items, and technical documentation to proactively and reactively identify improvement opportunities.
• Recommend and implement optimizations in existing code repositories for performance, maintainability, and scalability.
• Lead automation initiatives across unit testing, CI/CD pipelines, and quality assurance.
• Actively participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives.
• Stay up to date with evolving cloud technologies and continuously grow as a cloud-native engineer.

Requisitos

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Cloud Engineer, with a preference for AWS-focused roles.
• Deep understanding of cloud computing concepts across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Strong experience with core AWS services: Lambda, SQS, S3, DynamoDB, and API Gateway.
• Solid experience with Git-based version control systems (e.g., GitHub, GitLab).
• 3+ years of experience developing applications and APIs using object-oriented languages such as Node.js or Java.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with cloud-native programming in Node.js or Python.
• Experience working with enterprise-scale cloud environments and implementing DevOps automation and CI/CD pipelines.

Requisitos preferentes

• Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
• High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet critical deadlines.
• Experience with Atlassian tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and effective written communication skills.
• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Developer) are a strong plus.
