Bluelightconsulting is expanding its software practice, seeking an experienced senior architect to design low-latency AWS-based systems and lead engineering teams. You will craft scalable RESTful services, mentor peers, and drive architectural decisions across diverse client projects.

Ideal candidates combine strong technical leadership with a deep understanding of security, compliance, and cost/performance tradeoffs, able to work across time zones and deliver high-quality software solutions.

Formación

• 8+ years professional software development experience, with 3+ years in an architecture-focused role.
• Deep experience designing low-latency service architectures in AWS.
• Experience designing audit/evidence systems with append-only logs and versioned models.
• Strong leadership and mentoring of engineering teams.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience with event-driven design, queues, and caching at scale.
• Ability to overlap US business hours.

Responsabilidades

• Design and lead low-latency architectures on AWS.
• Develop scalable RESTful APIs and SDK integrations.
• Mentor engineering teams and conduct architecture reviews.
• Produce architecture documentation, diagrams, and ADRs.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders across time zones.
• Ensure security and compliance in multi-tenant environments.
