Bluelight seeks a Senior Architect to lead end-to-end architecture for large-scale, low-latency systems across AWS, PostgreSQL/AuroraDB with multi-tenant data models and ADR-driven documentation.

You will mentor teams, drive architecture reviews, and ensure secure, scalable designs while balancing latency budgets and cost projections. Remote-friendly, overlapping US business hours expected.

Formación

• 8+ years professional software development experience with 3+ years in architecture-focused role
• Deep experience designing low-latency service architectures in AWS
• Experience with explicit latency budgets (p95/p99) and durable commits
• Experience designing audit/evidence systems and deterministic history replay
• Experience with fail-open/fail-closed/degraded-state semantics and outages
• Proven experience architecting secure multi-tenant environments
• Experience with Row-Level Security (RLS) at data-modeling level
• Expertise in designing and building scalable RESTful APIs
• Experience architecting SDK integrations to other services
• Strong expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript

Responsabilidades

• Architect and lead large-scale, end-to-end systems.
• Define technical standards and conduct architecture and code reviews.
• Mentor engineering teams and produce architecture documentation (ADRs).
• Present architecture decisions in client engineering and security reviews.
• Design for security and multi-tenant data models; ensure latency budgets and cost projections.
