Sensient Technologies Corporation is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to join our team in a manufacturing setting in Mexico. You will program and maintain PLC/HMI systems, design electrical schematics, and support electrical infrastructure while working on-site with cross-functional teams.

• Experience in electrical engineering within manufacturing/industrial processing environments.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70 requirements.
• Experience with Siemens and/or Allen-Bradley PLCs and integration with automation systems.
• Bachelors degree in Electrical or Chemical Engineering.
• Fluent English communication for technical collaboration.
• Strong problem solving in electrical/controls issues.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, program, maintain, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI systems.
• Design, update, and maintain electrical schematics, diagrams, and documentation.
• Support motors, power distribution, and electrical infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Maintenance and Engineering on projects and migrations.
• Troubleshoot electrical, electronics, controls, and robotic systems with root-cause analysis.
• Research and adopt new technologies to modernize controls and robotics.
• Maintain Arc-Flash models and ensure NEC/IEEE/NEMA compliance.
