Banamex is seeking an Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst in Mexico City to contribute to analysis and programming of application systems. You will work with the Technology team to implement new or revised applications in alignment with business needs.

The role requires intermediate English, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple project phases with limited supervision. This is a full-time position based on-site in Mexico City.

Formación

• Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications.
• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects.
• Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, development, models, and implement new or revised applications to meet business needs.
• Monitor and control all phases of development, analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation; provide user and operational support.
• Utilize in-depth knowledge of applications development to analyze problems and evaluate processes and standards.
• Recommend and develop security measures in post-implementation analysis to ensure system functionality.
• Consult with users/clients and other technology groups on issues and implement advanced programming solutions.
• Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes.
• Serve as advisor to new or lower level analysts and operate with limited supervision.
• Act as SME to senior stakeholders and/or team members; assess risk in business decisions and ensure compliance and ethics.
• Design and implement software components and resolve technically complex problems.
• Coordinate external teams and organize their assignments to meet project requirements.
