BairesDev is seeking a Senior Apache Spark Engineer to design and build high-performance data processing applications. You will collaborate with engineering teams to create scalable backend architectures and robust distributed systems for massive datasets.

This 100% remote role offers flexible hours, USD or local currency compensation, and a globally distributed team. You will drive automated testing, CI/CD, and modern containerized deployments to ensure reliable pipelines.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering or related field.
• Proven expertise in Apache Spark for large-scale data processing.
• Strong hands-on experience in advanced Java development and distributed systems.
• Solid understanding of automated testing, CI/CD, and containerization.
• Experience with cloud-native development and backend architectures.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Architect and implement distributed data processing applications using Apache Spark.
• Develop and optimize robust backend services and scalable distributed architectures using Java.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery.
• Design containerized solutions and leverage cloud-native services to deploy reliable systems.
• Establish automated testing frameworks to guarantee code quality and pipeline stability.
