Maersk in Mexico City is seeking an experienced Accounting Operations professional to oversee day‑to‑day financial transactions, ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance, and support cost and budget accounting.

You will handle accounts payable and receivable, billing, and invoicing, coach junior staff, and influence tactical decisions while maintaining high standards of financial control.

Formación

• Relevant accounting experience with focus on financial controls.
• Ability to work independently within defined guidelines.
• Experience coaching or mentoring junior staff is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee day‑to‑day financial transactions with accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Perform cost accounting: allocate and analyze direct/indirect costs and variances.
• Perform budget accounting: develop and monitor annual revenue/expense budgets.
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing and invoicing.
• Coach or mentor less experienced staff and provide informal supervision.
• Manage or oversee work of other professionals or processes.
• Set objectives and deliver own responsibilities as a leading expert.
• Influence long‑term tactical decisions of the organization.
