Luxoft is seeking a Senior Analytics/Reporting Engineer in Mexico with deep Cognos and Power BI expertise to design, develop, optimize, and support enterprise reporting solutions. You will partner with business and technical stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable dashboards, reports, data models, and actionable insights.

The role spans the full BI lifecycle, coordinating reporting initiatives across onshore and offshore teams and environments.

Formación

• 7+ years of experience in enterprise BI and reporting development.
• Strong Cognos Framework Manager and Report Studio knowledge.
• Hands-on with Power BI and dashboards, reports, and data models.
• Experience with dimensional modeling (star/snowflake).
• Advanced SQL skills and query optimization.
• English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsabilidades

• Gather and analyze reporting requirements from stakeholders and analysts.
• Develop, test, deploy, and maintain Cognos reports and Power BI dashboards.
• Document Cognos Framework Manager packages and data models.
• Create complex calculations, metrics, drill-throughs, and report variables.
• Implement scheduling, distribution, and report bursting.
• Optimize SQL queries and Cognos reports for performance.
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure reporting availability.
• Support Cognos migrations and modernization to Power BI.
• Collaborate with ETL and data-engineering teams to validate data flows.
• Create technical documentation and adhere to standards.
• Provide guidance to teammates and coordinate reporting tasks.
• Communicate progress, risks, and recommendations to leadership.
