Job summary

C3 AI is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer, AI and Automation to define and drive the quality strategy for our next generation of AI-enabled products and platforms. You will design scalable automated test frameworks and validate AI outputs across UI, API, and end-to-end tests, while mentoring engineers and guiding quality practices across teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS, Software Eng, or related field.
5+ years in Quality Engineering, Test Automation, SDET, or Software Eng roles.
Strong programming in Java, Python, or similar OO language.
Hands-on with automated test frameworks for UI, API, end-to-end tests.
Experience with modern test automation tools (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress).
CI/CD integration and Git familiarity.
Knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and QA best practices.
Ability to analyze complex systems and architect test frameworks.

Responsibilities

Define and implement quality strategies for AI-enabled products and platforms.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks (UI, API, E2E).
Create test plans for functional, integration, end-to-end, performance, reliability.
Develop validation approaches for AI outputs and agentic workflows.
Establish quality metrics and dashboards for product health and AI system effectiveness.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and quality gates.
Identify quality risks and drive resolution across systems.
Mentor engineers and promote quality engineering best practices.
