Solera Holdings, LLC. in Mexico City seeks a Principal AI Engineer to lead AI harnesses and agent delivery swarms that accelerate software delivery at scale.

This is an individual-contributor leadership role focused on technical direction and production-grade AI tooling. You will architect frameworks, guardrails, and orchestration to enable safe, scalable AI-powered delivery, partnering with central architecture and greenfield as well as modernization efforts.

Formación

• 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience at senior/lead level.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Deep expertise building with AI development agents and agentic tooling (harnesses, prompts, context pipelines).
• Elite hands-on engineering skills across the full delivery lifecycle with reusable tooling.
• Strong architectural and system design skills with central-architecture collaboration.
• Deep expertise in CI/CD and safe delivery practices (testing, canary, blue/green).
• Experience with platform/shared-services and data lake capabilities and emphasis on reuse.

Responsabilidades

• Build, own, and continuously improve the AI harness and tooling.
• Design and operate agent delivery swarms with strong review and safety controls.
• Mentor engineers and drive adoption of AI-native delivery practices.
• Set technical direction and best practices for AI-powered delivery across teams.
• Integrate AI capabilities with CI/CD pipelines and automated release processes.
• Partner with central architecture on cross-cutting changes while retaining decision authority for AI tooling.
• Establish evaluation, observability, and quality gates for AI-produced code.
