Solera seeks a Director of Engineering to own end-to-end delivery across products, balancing greenfield builds and modernization, with a platform-first approach and AI‑driven velocity. You’ll lead a multi‑layered team, coach managers, and drive architecture decisions while empowering hands‑on delivery through AI tooling.

You will collaborate with Product, Design, Security, and stakeholders to translate strategy into shipped software, ensure CI/CD discipline, and maintain high engineering

Formación

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with 6+ years leading engineering teams.
• Experience owning end-to-end product delivery across greenfield and modernization projects.
• Hands-on with AI development agents and integrating AI into the delivery lifecycle.
• Strong architecture and system design expertise, with cross-team collaboration.
• Deep CI/CD, DevOps knowledge, and modern engineering workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Own delivery outcomes from strategy to build, launch, and operate.
• Directly manage and grow a team of managers, senior engineers, and engineers.
• Delegate to and orchestrate AI development agents as part of delivery capacity.
• Define tasks, review AI outputs, and enforce quality, security, and architecture standards.
• Lead architecture design and partner with central architecture teams.
• Own and improve CI/CD pipelines and automated build–test–deploy flows.
• Drive a platform-first approach, maximizing reuse of shared services.
• Leverage the data lake to inform product decisions and enable AI features.
• Balance greenfield development with modernization to manage risk and value.
• Set engineering standards for quality, security, reliability, observability, and cost.
