KMS Technology Mexico is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications using Large Language Models. You will build scalable AI solutions, autonomous agents, and intelligent workflows that integrate with existing systems.

You will collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into production-ready AI software and adopt modern AI engineering practices across the lifecycle.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with AI-focused projects.
• Hands-on experience with Large Language Models and modern AI platforms.
• Experience designing agentic AI solutions and orchestration workflows.
• Experience integrating AI apps with REST APIs and enterprise systems.
• Familiarity with Spec-Driven Development and AI-driven SDLC practices.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy intelligent applications powered by Large Language Models and modern AI technologies. This role focuses on building scalable AI solutions, autonomous agents, and intelligent workflows that solve complex business problems while integrating seamlessly with existing systems.

You will collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into AI-driven solutions. The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering fundamentals with practical experience building production-ready AI applications and adopting modern AI engineering practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications using Large Language Models.


• Design and implement Agentic AI solutions capable of executing multi-step reasoning and autonomous workflows.


• Develop and maintain AI agents and agent orchestration workflows that coordinate multiple tasks, services, and external systems.


• Integrate AI capabilities with enterprise applications, APIs, and external services.


• Collaborate with product owners and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable AI solutions.


• Apply Spec-Driven Development practices to improve solution quality, traceability, and implementation consistency.


• Leverage AI-driven software development lifecycle practices to accelerate development, testing, documentation, and delivery.


• Evaluate, test, and optimize AI models to improve response quality, reliability, and overall performance.


• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to AI platform and solution design.


• Document AI solutions, workflows, and implementation patterns to support long-term maintainability.


• Stay current with advancements in AI technologies and recommend opportunities to improve engineering practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with significant experience developing AI-powered applications.


• Strong experience working with Large Language Models and modern AI platforms.


• Hands-on experience designing and implementing Agentic AI solutions.


• Experience developing and managing AI agent orchestration workflows.


• Experience integrating AI applications with REST APIs and enterprise systems.


• Experience applying Spec-Driven Development methodologies in software projects.


• Familiarity with AI-driven SDLC practices and using AI tools to improve software engineering workflows.


• Strong software design, architecture, and problem-solving skills.


• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams.


• Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable AI solutions.


• Experience working in Agile development environments.

Nice to Have

• Experience collaborating with globally distributed engineering teams.


• Certifications or completed training programs from Anthropic, OpenAI, or other recognized AI platforms.
