Job summary

Warner Bros. Discovery in Mexico City is seeking a Senior Accountant to support TV Group finance, including TV Production, WB Animation and Digital Networks. You will handle general ledger stewardship, month-end close, and reporting, coordinating with offshore and onshore teams.

Required: BA/BS in Finance or Accounting, 3+ years accounting experience, understanding of US GAAP and SOX, CPA progress, and advanced English. Proficiency in Excel and SAP experience are valued.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Finance or Accounting required.
• Minimum 3 years accounting experience; US GAAP and SOX knowledge.
• CPA license or progress toward attainment.
• Strong analytical, proactive and self-sufficient.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
• Advanced English.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day general accounting and reporting activities.
• Process and maintain Minor Trust.
• Monthly billing and JEs; Co-Op accrual / Station Summit Billing.
• Prepare weekly Cast and Crew and WWTV Marketing payroll.
• Invoice coding and SAP IO creation.
• Purchase Order Maintenance.
• Pro-active month-end/quarter-end close activities.
• Review intercompany reconciliations and balance sheet.
• Prepare footnotes, schedules and disclosures.
