INTUGO, in Hermosillo, Sonora, seeks a Staff Accountant to join a technology-focused business advisory and CPA services partnership serving U.S.-based clients. You will support month-end close, prepare financial statements, and maintain accurate ledgers.

The role offers a hybrid work model, monthly MXN salary of about MXN 25,909, and benefits including private medical insurance and performance bonuses. Fluency in English is required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–4 years of full-cycle accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Strong English written and spoken communication with international clients.

Responsabilidades

• Support month-end close and assist in producing monthly financial statements.
• Code transactions in QuickBooks Online, Xero, and other client systems.
• Prepare payroll, accruals, and adjusting journal entries.
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts and resolve discrepancies.

Staff Accountant – Technology-focused Business Advisory & CPA Firm General Version

Hook: Intugo, in partnership with a foreign company specialized in technology-focused business advisory and CPA services, is looking for an analytical and detail-oriented accountant. This modern firm delivers financial clarity, strategic insights, and scalable accounting support to growth-oriented companies across the United States.

Salary: MXN $25,908.75 Gross Monthly

Main Responsibilities

• Support the month-end close process and assist in preparing monthly financial statements and reports.
• Code and categorize financial transactions accurately in QuickBooks Online, Xero, and other client systems.
• Prepare payroll, accrual, recurring, and adjusting journal entries.
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and balance sheet accounts, while actively resolving discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate general ledgers, account schedules, and supporting workflow documentation.
• Serve as a primary day-to-day contact to respond to routine accounting queries from U.S. clients.

Ideal Profile

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 2-4 years of hands-on, full-cycle accounting or bookkeeping experience, preferably supporting U.S.-based companies.
• Technical Skills: Experience completing account reconciliations, coding transactions, and utilizing QuickBooks Online (preferred).
• Languages: Strong written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate professionally with international clients.
• Competencies: Outstanding attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple client deadlines simultaneously.
