IFF is seeking a qualified accountant to drive financial accuracy, statutory compliance, and impactful reporting while partnering with global finance teams. The role is based in Tecnoparque, Azcapotzalco and offers a hybrid work arrangement.

You will prepare SAP journal entries, perform reconciliations, support month-end and statutory reporting for Argentina, maintain books per local requirements, and collaborate with Treasury, Tax, and GBS to resolve issues and ensure SOX and US GAAP compliance.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• 3–4 years in accounting, financial reporting, or controllership.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls.
• Experience with SAP and financial compliance tasks.
• Advanced Excel skills and English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with tax reporting packages and income tax provisions.

Where You'll Make a Difference

• Prepare and record journal entries in SAP and Central Finance (CFIN), ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger.
• Perform monthly account reconciliations and balance sheet reviews to support strong financial governance and reporting accuracy.
• Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Coordinate the preparation of local statutory financial statements and supporting documentation in compliance with Argentine regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accounting records and statutory books in accordance with Argentine legal, tax and accounting requirements.
• Support external and internal audits by providing reconciliations, schedules, analyses and required documentation.
• Prepare and review tax reporting packages and support income tax provision activities.
• Partner with Treasury, Tax, Global Business Services (GBS) and Corporate Finance teams to resolve accounting, reporting and compliance matters.
• Ensure compliance with SOX controls, company policies, US GAAP and Local GAAP.

What Makes You the Right Fit

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 3-4 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, statutory compliance or controllership activities.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, accounting principles, financial reporting and internal controls.
• Experience working with SAP.
• Experience with account reconciliations, statutory reporting and audit support activities.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency with the ability to collaborate effectively in a global environment.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to build effective partnerships with local, regional and global stakeholders.

How Would You Stand Out

• Previous experience supporting accounting operations, statutory reporting or legal entities in Argentina.
• Knowledge of Argentine accounting, tax and regulatory requirements.
• Experience working in multinational organizations or shared services environments.
